Review of Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982) by Tony M — 18 Oct 2014
Many hate this almost unrelated, non Michael Myers sequel to Carpenters classic, instead of being another slasher movie about teenagers getting bumped off by everyone's favorite Shatner masked psycho it's actually a kinda sci-fi horror flick, a really nutty, bizarre cult concoction that involves sinister humanoid robots, Stone Henge, subliminal tv signals and deadly, face eating Halloween masks.
I think it's a bit brilliant myself, a very odd little holiday treat, creepy and unpredictable and fairly insane, plus Tom Atkins is in it, and that dude is just awesome in everything. If you want a somewhat more unusual Halloween movie where you arnt sure exactly were it's going next, check this out.
