More competently written than I expected. Great on a technical level like music and tone and cinematography. Not a sequel but rather a standalone movie. Fairly campy and not exactly cleverly written but try not to poke too many holes in the script.
It's no original Halloween, but you can see John Carpenters influence. Sure it's completely bizarre, but run with it, it's fun.
