A sequel that tries too hard to imitate it's predecessor and lacks the original fear and suspense that was established in the first film. Number 1 rule of a horror movie; Don't show too much of the monster, does not exist in Halloween II.
If John Carpenter were in the Director's chair the film may have had that original suspense and may have asked you the same question as in the first film; When will HE strike next?.
