Review of Halloween H20: 20 Years Later (1998) by Buddy A — 07 Sep 2012
After the last two disappointing sequels, this one shot right back up to the ratings of the first two films. Jamie Lee Curtis wanted to do another Halloween film and to have as much of the original cast as possible, and it turned into the second best of the sequels.
Laurie has been the dean of a private school for 20 years, unable to get rid of Michael's memory. When Michael tracks her down, the film picks up as non-stop action, thrills and suspense as the final battle between brother and sister begins.
This film was way better than Halloween 4, 5 and 6, but not better than the original duo. Still, those two and H20 make for a great trilogy. My only real nitpick is that Jamie is completely ignored in this sequel, but hey, it's better than some of the other movies.
Rating: 4/5.
