"STRODE VERSUS MYERS, 20 YEARS LATER".

- 'Halloween H20' is a 1998 slasher movie from director Steve Miner and seventh in the 'Halloween' film franchise surrounding serial killer Michael Myers. The film was released exactly 20 years after the original and brings back legendary Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode. I really like to see her back in action. The film is an homage to the original and even winks to other slashers (Scream 2, Psycho). In the cast we see LL Cool J (Deep Blue Sea), Josh Hartnett (the Faculty), Michelle Williams (Brokeback Mountain), Adam Arkin (Hitch), Adam Hann-Byrd (Jumanji), Janet Leigh (Psycho), a young Joseph Gordon-Levitt (the Dark Knight) and Nancy Stephens (Halloween) as Marion Chambers.

Marion Chambers (Stephens), who was once the nurse of Doctor Sam Loomis, comes home and finds that it has been burglarized. The teenage boy from next door, Jimmy (Gordon-Levitt) searches her home and tells her someone messed up her office. Marion is shocked to see that the file of Laurie Strode, Michael Myers youngest sister, has gone missing. When hearing a sound, Marion runs back to Jimmy's house, only to discover that he has been murdered. Michael Myers is back!

In the meantime, Laurie Strode (Curtis) is alive and has changed her identity to keep her and her son John (Hartnett) save from the demons from her past. She is the headmistress at Hillcrest Academy High School. When most of the students are on a camping trip, Laurie focuses on her relationship with her colleague Will (Arkin). Unknowingly, John has stayed behind to celebrate Halloween with his girlfriend Molly (Williams) and best friends Charlie (Hann-Byrd) and Sarah.

When school guard Ronny (Cool J) discovers a abandoned car in front of the gate, Laurie knows that her brother has come to finish what he started; kill his family...
