After 2 movies of a building narrative in the exceptional Halloween (2018) and Halloween Kills, Halloween Ends feels like the creative team wanted to make a completely unrelated film that was unrelated to the story we had been watching for the past 4 years.
With almost no Michael Myers and even Laurie Strode being pushed to the sidelines, this passion project from the director is a Halloween movie in name only.
