Review of Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers (1989) by Gilbert L — 25 Jun 2008
It was better than the third and fourth at least. The ending is truely strange and made not a lick of sense, but hey, you get to see Michael with out his mask on. Yipee! Michael is back and he's kind of pissed off at Haddonfield for blowing a bunch of holes through him and then trying to blow him up.
So exactly one year after the events of the previous film, he returns and is ready for some slaughtering and mayhem. Jamie Lloyd is back but she has lost the ability to speak and is now in a mental instution for children.
And as you can guess, she can tell what Michael is doing and can notify people of his where abouts through frantic use of charades and grunts. The story is half-baked at best and the cast could do with a bit of a look over, but hey, it's pretty much show off a ass cheeck or boob and then get maimed in a way that will leave a relatively beautiful corpse.
But, hey at least it's kind of redeeming.
