Review of Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers (1988) by Dann M — 23 Oct 2013
After a disastrous third installment the Halloween franchise rights itself with Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers. Ten years after his reign of terror Michael Myers awakens from a coma and returns to Haddonfield, Illinois to kill Laurie Strode's daughter.
Donald Pleasence returns once again and newcomer Danielle Harris gives an impressive performance that carries a lot of charisma. The storytelling's also pretty good (as far as slasher films go) and has some interesting twists.
There are a few plot holes and some bad acting, but overall Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers is a solid horror film.
