Review of Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers (1988) by Lloyd D — 09 Feb 2010
Micheal is awakened from his coma when a niece is metioned and despite being burned and blinded in 2 he goes on a rampage to kill his niece and anyone in his way. The acting is strong with Harris , Plesance and Cornwell giving out great perfomances but the storyline of a little girl being the target doesnt have the same fairness 1 and 2 had with a 17 year old. I mean he waited for Laurie to turn 17 before he killed so why not Jamie????
The kills are watered down for the M rating and most Halloween fans would had welcomed Bradys brain popping out of his head during a kill as its the best kill in the whole film or the hunters being picked off in the school by Micheals ambush but they play it safe and wimp out cheating Halloween fans. The ending was downright insulting and higly unlikely as well.
