Review of Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers (1988) by Daniel P — 15 May 2010
Not too shabby. This continuation of the Michael Myers story keeps the interest and has good performances from Danielle Harris and Ellie Cornell, with Donald Pleasence adding some gravitas. Dwight H. Little tries to emulate John Carpenter's directorial style with some modest success, and the roof-chase sequence is particularly strong.
The twist ending is a little predictable but overall works well and the music theme is put to good use.
