Review of Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers (1988) by Andreas O — 06 Aug 2011
The point where the filmmakers caved to fan pressure and turned what could have been an interesting franchise into a repetitive grind. So, the movie is not a justified sequel, but it does have some positive elements speaking for it.
Donald Pleasence is still great, for instance, and the ending is one of the more ballsy of the franchise. The redeeming qualities may be few, but at least they are there.
