Review of Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers (1988) by Jonny B — 26 Oct 2011
'Halloween 4' is a good sequel and a masterpiece when compared to other movies in the franchise. Mr. Myers is out of retirement and enters the work force to discover something more frightening than himself: the 80's.
The movie has a lot of problems but it's entertaining and comes the closest of all the sequels to the mood of the original but it suffers from the 80s cheese virus that spreads over to part five rendering it one-hundred-perecent incompetent.
However, 'Halloween 4: Return of Michael Myers' is the best sequel for fans of the original that were let down by Carpenter with part two and Wallace with part three.
