Review of Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers (1988) by Mike S — 04 Sep 2009
This is my favorite of all the sequels. Dwight H Little has managed to bring back the feel of the original(suspense and tension)while still keeping in mind that the current audience loves gore.
The storyline has been tweaked this time around with Jamie Lee Curtis out of the franchise(for now). So now we have little Danielle Harris playing the target of Michaels rage. With Ellie Cornell as her forster sister. Both do a wonderful job in their roles. Kathleen Kinmont is also great in her role of the stereotypical slut role(man them titties are beautiful). Donald Pleasance returns as Dr. Loomis and has a bit more to do this time around and its fun to watch. George Wilbur takes over as Michael in his first of 2 portrayals(H6 is the other).
This isn't much of a review, but its because I don't want to tell too much. Go see it, its an awesome film.
4 out of 5.
