Halloween 25 Years of Terror is a pretty good documentary of the famed horror series. As a diehard fan of the original, being my all time favorite film, I enjoyed this film, but I felt that it was a little light in terms of content.

For a documentary, this one compared to others like Crystal Lake Memories and Never Sleep Again is a film that tells a good story on the series, but it's not the definitive portrait of series. I feel that a more in depth film about the series.

I feel that this documentary is good, but also that the definitive saga of the series has yet to be made. However, this film will definitely appeal to diehard Halloween fans. The film chronicles the making of the series, its legacy and how it shaped the face of modern horror.

I liked the documentary and it did provide insight, but it could have been longer as well. Hopefully someone will tell the complete history of Halloween. If you're expecting a great in depth documentary on the series like Crystal Lake Memories, you'll be disappointed.

The film has some good interviews, but it rush's through the material way too quickly. Entertaining for what it tries to do, Halloween: 25 Years of Terror is a good retrospective on its legacy and how it spawned several imitators.

The interviews are good, and the way the cast recall how it became a phenomenon is quite interesting as well. Not only is the cast interviewed, but the filmmakers, fans and critics as well. I really enjoyed Clive Barker's segment as well, but like I said, due to the fact that this film is short, you end up wanting more out of the film.

Hopefully we'll get a more in depth retrospective, but for now, Halloween: 25 Years of Terror is a worthy alternative in having nothing documenting this legendary franchise.
