Review of Halloween (2018) by Pete C — 10 Nov 2018

I have to say Halloween 1978 has to be my favourite horror movie so approaching this sequel I knew that it would be hard to match my expectations. The movie started well and it seemed that we would get a look into the dark soul of Michael Myers and why he was the monster he was, but after 30mins the film moved away from this premise and back to Myers killing spree, the film then revolves around Myers vs Laurie Strode ( acted brillantly by Jamie Lee Curtis),his demons vs her demons.

Overall I enjoyed it, but think that they didn't explore all the avenues that they teased in the first half of the film. A Film that I would say go see if you enjoyed the original but could have been a classic as well.
