I've been watching these since I was a child. Huge fan of the franchise it's wverything you want out of a Halloween film. The great flash back references to the origina,l the gore, the violence, the same old mike Meyers us true horror fans love no sci-fi bs just a straight mass killing by one of the most iconic serial killers out there.

Don't listen to these random people's opions like the old disillusioned roger ebert or some female who probably was scared by "Annabelle" or the new crap horror out now. This is a great comeback for the franchise.

From the decayed pumpkin at the beginning resurrecting, to the parts where Jamie Lee dissapears after a double look by mike just like the old days where he was gone after she double checked I highly recommend it.

I stood and applauded at the end... go out and see it yourself!
