Hits every point it needs to satisfy Halloween fans.
Competent story. Nice cinematography. Respectable characters and dialogue. Great kills, and very loyal to the originals. Lots of great fan service too. Did I mention the music is phenomenal?!
Please don't go in expecting Alfred Hitchcock levels of art, because it's not. That being said, it's a very well produced film, and ranks as one of the better sequels to the films. It's possibly the best sequel.
Watching slashers in a packed movie theatre just adds to the fun. It's an 8/10 movie, but I'm giving it 5 stars just to boost the rating. It deserves better.
