The first quarter of the movie is pointless. It goes into retelling the story of Michael Myers that we already all know or should know if you watched the original... Then the biggest issue of this movie is the characters.
Majority of the characters have no meaning to the story line. I don't want to give spoilers away but I kept watching the movie wondering why these characters were created with no real purpose? And everything is too predictable and everything just comes too easy for Michael Myers.
.. how he gets his mask back, how he finds Laurie, ect... I give it two starts because Jamie Lee Curtis puts on a great performance through all this.
