This is a film that I feel is the best sequel in this franchise, a worthy follow on too the original, it echoes and homages the original whilst being a fine movie in its own right, as a fan of the original I definitely suggest the viewing order as Halloween 1978 followed by Halloween 2018, the rest you don't need.
