I really enjoyed the movie. Proper jump scares, proper telling of the origin story, pays homage to the sequels, while creating a new story. It's a good passing of the torch to a new franchise, should one be spawned.

My only issue: they abandoned a very key aspect of the original story that made it so creepy. I won't say what it is, but they should have kept one piece of the original story. That would have made it a 5 star movie!
