Review of Halloween (2018) by Corey S — 18 Oct 2018
No its not as good as the first two Halloween movies it could very well be the 3rd best of all the Halloween movies. The acting was most likely the best since the original two and the storyline wasn't bad either you can tell that they really wanted to have a decent plot and distance their self from all the other Halloween movies that were just supposed to forget about.
I do have a hard time trying to act like the other Halloween movies never happened though. I also did have an issue with Laurie Strode just coming back from the dead I mean they didn't even try to cover it up they just tried to run with it like she never died and then turning her into rambo was very silly plus her hide out with all her traps was kinda outta hand but it still didn't hurt the movie.
Their was a few laughs that normally I don't like but the kid cracking back with his baby sitter wasn't to bad and actually worked for the movie. Now to the Violence I must say I enjoyed Michaels violent nature in this movie.
Look when you go to a slasher or monster film its to see the character run wild and cause havoc and thats what Michael Myers(who is the star of the movie)dose in this movie causes chaos. Will Halloween win any awards the answer is no it will not but if your a fan of Michael Myers then you will like this movie.
