Review of Halloween (2018) by Trey A — 19 Oct 2018
Even though I was excited for this film, I still kept my expectations at a low neutral as to what I was going to get but let me tell you I liked this movie a lot. Jamie Lee Curtis shines in this film so well it just amazing, Judy Greer did a great job too and even Andi Matichack.
Did an amazing job here. This movie is very Intense and suspenseful even though the movie is pretty bloody, it makes up for that with a lot of off screen deaths. This film isn't really a slasher movie it's really a thriller, even though this film has a high body count. The movie is very atmospheric you have the creepy score on top of michael's creepy breathing on top of really great camera work. There are a few minor nitpicks I had with the film, an overly mashed plot twist scene that could have worked if done better, and some of the comedy is a little out of hand, but that is it. David Gordan Green made a great sequel to a really great horror classic.
