This 2007 remake of Halloween is just as good as the first one and the film is done in different styles compared to the original John Carpenter classic. This is by far a great remake and it is better than most Horror remakes now a days.

The plot of Halloween is simple and the same to the original John Carpenter classic and it is mainly a prequel and remake at the same time which I did like so far. This movie is about Michael Myers who escapes the asylum he's been locked in for several years and he goes to Haddonfield to find his sister Laurie while Dr.

Sam Loomis tries to search for Michael Myers. To be honest I never watched the original John Carpenter classic but I'm also interested to watch the 1978 classic and compare between these two films once I watch the original 1978 classic.

Although I did enjoy this remake and I like the idea that it is a prequel and remake at the same time. From my point of view this film is mainly a copy of the original John Carpenter classic because it still uses the same 1978 theme on the opening scene only done in a fresh and new style.

I seriously had no problems with the remake and it is pure nice and neat and a fresh remake compared to other bad remakes like The Hitcher and other films as well. For the most part I like this remake of the 1978 classic.

What's great about Rob Zombie's Halloween is that the film is full of suspense and tension that the original had the film is really scary and packed with loads of suspense from the beginning until the end which I enjoy so far.

The pacing of this remake is also good and it is not really slow at all the film is really quick and energetic from the opening scene until the end and I did like it in the film so far. What I also enjoy about this remake is that the movie also has a good cinematography and the camera work is very clever plus the music is neat and clean and I also enjoy the clever editing which seriously make the film look good so far.

What I also enjoy about this Halloween remake is that the film is also full of intense and gory and brutal violence. The film itself is full of non stop and heart pounding intense kills that I mainly describe to be pure brutality and the gore is seriously non stop as well and half of the kills are super intense from the opening scene where Michael kills the school bully with a wood the violence is seriously brutal and graphic until the later on parts of the film.

All of the kills are really brutal and violent in the film. The scene where Michael kills the school bully is super brutal and violent as well. The scene where Michael kills his entire family is really gory and brutal which I think is the nastiest part in the film while the other scenes are the same to the first two kills and half of the kills are gory and disturbing as well which makes the movie look good so far.

Now the acting is great all the casts do a wonderful job with they're work in the film the actor who played Michael Myers Tyler Mane a former professional wrestler did a good job with his work in the remake as Michael Myers and he looks perfect for the role of Michael Myers compared to other actors who played Michael Myers who mainly makes Michael Myers look like a total rip off.

Sheri Moon Zombie who is Rob Zombie's wife does a unique and incredible job with her role as Michael's mother. While the beautiful Scout Taylor Compton does a perfect job on her role as Laurie Strode the heroine of the film and the beautiful Danielle Harris does a unique job as well with her role as Annie Brackett even Brad Dourif does a unique job as well as Annie's father while Malcolm McDowell does a good job as Michael's psychiatrist Dr.

Loomis. So far all of the casts did a wonderful job with they're performances in the film so far. Director Rob Zombie is seriously learning how to become a talented filmmaker so far when he directed Halloween he did a good job with The Devil's Rejects and now he seriously knows how to work as a Horror director in this remake of the 1978 classic and now he succeeded in making a lot of good horror films so far and I'm proud of Mr.

Zombie's work so far. Overall this remake of the 1978 classic gets a 10/10 because this film has a lot of scenes that are full of suspense and tension plus the movie is violent and brutal plus gory at the same time with lots of incredible performances from the casts so far.
