Totally shocking remake of a classic. I am still partial to the classic I grew up with. Not a Rob Zombie fan, but he did a wonderful job with this film.Movie is not for the faint of heart. Longer time is spent developing Michael Myers as a child and trying to show his descent into becoming a monster.
Movie is not something for the younger audiences. It contains normal nudity,sex,alcohol and drug abuse, but the violence is what concerns me most. Scenes of him as a child hurting animals and eventually mutilating people who torment him.
This carries over into his adulthood and is very brutal. I doubt original could have gotten into theaters with some of the content in this film.
