Review of Halloween (2007) by Mike A — 11 Feb 2013
Aside from Rob Zombie ruining a legend, the movie (without thinking about the original) just had too many holes to be a GOOD movie. It's unfortunate that the direction in which he explained Michael's motivation wasn't done in a better way--in other words, Zombie left the audience without thinking or empathizing with Michael's situation.
Instead, we were forced, as with the other Zombie films, to empathize with his wife--Sheri Moon Zombie--who indisputably was NOT the focus of the movie. An unfortunate mess of a potentially good story.
