Review of Halloween (2007) by Taylor W — 20 Sep 2013
When I first saw this movie I loved it. I've seen it several times since and it's only gotten worse and worse, I still defend that this is a few steps above certain other entries in the Halloween franchise, but sadly that's not saying much.
If you can distance yourself from this being a remake of one of the all time horror classics you might be able to find some enjoyment in it as a trashy, vulgar bit of dementia. To be fair, there are a few things in this movie that would actually work as far as horror films go if it weren't for the fact that there can't just be ONE sentence uttered in this entire movie without profanity and one character who isn't perverse, violent or downright disgusting.
It's especially bad when the KILLER of your movie is the most innocent character in the whole film, despite, you know, being THE F@#$^&NG KILLER!!!
