Review of Halloween (2007) by Caent — 04 Sep 2007
Very solid re-creation of Halloween through the eyes of Rob Zombie. Although Rob didn't ace this horror classic, he sure did add some of that Zombie flavor. The most enjoyable portion of the film to me was the 1st quarter, when Rob uses is imagination and dives into Michael Myers young mind.
The boy actor was superb. His cold stare alone had me a believer. Great casting on young Michael. The rest of the cast however, leave much to be desired, (minus mike myers of course). Overall, a must see for fans of the original Halloween (series) as well as Rob Zombie fans and horror fans alike.
