Rob Zombie is successful at making what he stated; a Halloween film that mainly focuses on Michael and not on the pointless conversations between the girls. The scenes are disturbing but luckily not disgusting.
The origins of Michael were shown but there could have been more in the timeline. I know Zombie has a lot of scenes he didn't use, so why didn't he? The point is Michael has never been scarier and the mask couldn't be more perfect.
