Review of Halloween (2007) by Blakk — 05 Sep 2007

I didn't see the original Halloween, so I can't really make a comparison between the original and this re-make. I have seen Zombie's other two films, however, and I feel that he's definitely grown as a director.

It was also nice to see some familiar faces from the other films. Still, I didn't feel any tension or fear throughout the movie, and actually felt a little bored during the last scenes. I think the story surrounding Michael Meyers was interesting, but the movie failed to set the right atmosphere.

It's also hard to feel any fear when you're getting teenage breasts thrown in your face every 10 minutes.... not that I'm complaining.
