Rob Zombie just had to remake Halloween into an ugly, redneck, heavy metal slasher with loads of gore. The strength of the original lay in the fact that it was devoid of such explicit violence and still a masterful thriller.
This just feels like such an unnecessary interpretation of a classic horror film.
