Review of Hall Pass (2011) by Kevin D — 26 Dec 2011
Hall Pass is truly a triumph for the Farrelly Brothers. It's nice to see the Farrelly Brothers back in top form. After watching this flick, I will never listen to Styx's "The Best Of Times" the same way again.
Crude humor aside, Hall Pass is actually a powerful film about learning to appreciate how good you got it at home. The ending has to be seen to be believed. Stick around for the credits; there's a hilarious epilogue scene with Stephen Merchant (the British actor) and a post-credits outtake scene.
My grade: A.
