Thoroughly upfront and frank, this film has compelling story lines and wonderful acting all around. Some of the camerawork that was probably meant to add 'realism' or 'grittiness' it more distracting than it should have been, but is thankfully toned down as the movie goes on.
Gosling and Epps are great in their roles.
