Review of Hairspray (1988) by Giovanni F — 14 Apr 2008
So I saw this movie back in the day. I always loved it and wanted to re-visit since we recently saw the new version of this classic. Again, I loved it. I think it brilliantly touches on the "accept yourself for you you are" theme with humour and grace.
What can I say, I was raised on "Free to be You and Me." This fits. Only love for all versions of "Hairspray.".
