For a film to be true to the stage version of Hair would be next to impossible since the cast of the show interacts with the audience so much, but more importantly, because the story is told in such an abstract manner. So the fact that a film exists with an actual linear plotline somewhat surprised me. Honestly, I don't think this film works. Honestly, the film plays like a movie based on Hair with the songs everyone knows and loves.
Oh, and is it just me or does Claude looks like Conan O'Brien?
