Review of Hacksaw Ridge (2016) by Alex M — 19 Feb 2017
Not since Saving Private Ryan has there been such a visually stunning, brutal, and meticulously directed war sequence as the one in Mel Gibson's Hacksaw Ridge. The script itself is great and all the actors are fully enveloped into the lives and minds of their characters.
Except for a few performances, Vince Vaughn and Sam Worthington, most of them were fantastic, especially Andrew Garfield.
