Review of Hacksaw Ridge (2016) by Clapperboard Y — 14 Aug 2017
The back-story with the father seemed too long. There were some pretty large plot holes, like why the Japanese didn't just cut the rope up the ridge. Andrew Garfield's voice was rough to listen to for a whole movie, and it was hard to believe the armed forces let him have a wave haircut in battle.
Vince Vaughn was surprisingly good as a drill sergeant.
