Review of Hacksaw Ridge (2016) by Michael D — 22 Feb 2017
Quite simply a stunning film... not since Saving Private Ryan has there been such a good war movie. I would even go as far to say on a par with Spielberg's masterpiece, it's that good. This film has so much heart, and the fact its based on a true story makes it that extra special.
If it wasn't for La La Land... this movie could be getting best film award at the Oscars. Mel Gibson did some fine work with this film... bravo!
