Review of Gunless (2010) by Doris R — 13 Jun 2010
Yup - Paul Gross has done it again! This is an easy going Western Comedy that will have you laugh out loud and thoroughly enjoy your visit to the movie theatre. It basically depicts an American gunslinger (Canadian Paul Gross ...) arriving at a small town in across the Canadian border virtually hanging off his horse, hanging noose around his neck and dragging part of a tree behind the horse and a bullit stuck in his behind ... and that is the general set-up and introduction to a hilariously fun movie throughout.
Veteran actor Graham Greene also puts in some straight-faced one-liners and leading lady Sienna Guillory as well as 'blacksmith' Tyler Mane contradict Paul Gross' character desperately trying to pick a fight with optimistic and non-consequental nonchalance.
An intensely quirky and entertaining Canadian-made feature that I think everyone should go and see. I can assure you, you will not be disappointed!
