Review of Gunfight at the O.K. Corral (1957) by Brad S — 21 May 2016
I had wanted to see this film for longer than I can remember, and glad I got around to it as I really enjoyed it. Kirk Douglas and Burt Lancaster are 2 all-time great movies stars and this film really shows why.
They're both charismatic and great in their roles as Earp and Doc Holliday. This was the 2nd of 7 films they did together, and their chemistry is clear from the outset. I didn't know a young Dennis Hopper was in this so that was a nice surprise as was a small early role for Lee Van Cleef.
Recommended for fans of Westerns and classics.
