Review of Gummo (1997) by Ian C — 31 Oct 2009
Umm what exactly is this movie about? I watched it with an open mind and tried stifle my yawns to one every 4 minutes but eventually I fell asleep. Yes the movie has a creepy tone but eventually it wears off once you see where this movie is going, which is nowhere.
That is the problem with these so called "artsy" films. Movies are a form of entertainment, so for pete's sake have something going on in the movie that will keep us interested.
