Review of Gummo (1997) by Mark V — 26 Jul 2014
A dark portrait of alienated youth plus more. Think Larry Clarke's KIDS meets David Lynch's ERASERHEAD. Can't really say anymore because that sums it up for me. Has memorable lines and the acting doesn't even seem like acting.
Seems real and you wonder after it's over if it was. Makes good dinner conversation.
