Review of Gumbasia (1955) by Michael E — 07 Aug 2007

What we have here is clay animation at it's best. I can only wonder how long it would take the crew to actually complete a short 5 minute episode.The first half of this is all Gumby episodes. This is what everybody will want to see when watching this.

I just wished that there would have been more episodes with Pokey inside. I also would have loved more voice overs as well. The second half of this consists of classic cartoons. Although they can be entertaining they just weren't Gumby.

This will do great to entertain a younger audience and even people like myself that grew up on Gumby. The runtime is only 60 minutes so you won't be staring at the TV for as long as a feature film.

So go out and dive into Play dough land. I mean Clayville. Oh wait, Fantasia. No? Alright, Gumbasia.
