Review of Gulliver's Travels (2010) by Dylan N — 21 May 2011
Jack Black's frat boy antics are not enough to save a misfired interpretation of Jonathan Swift's classic fantasy tale.
Director Rob Letterman employs some great script writers in Nick Stoller and Joe Stillman, but the two scribes deliver way short of their best work. The carte blanche plagiarism of pop culture film references does nothing to add any flavor to an unappetizing stew.
