Review of Guest House Paradiso (1999) by Phil W — 15 Sep 2007
I caught this on TV late the other night and I have to say that it must have been a case of "absense makes the heart grow fonder" because I absolutely howled through the first half of this movie. I seriously had tears in my eyes and pains in my sides.
From about the middle onwards the film does slip into a downward slide which it never recovers from but the film is definately worth watching just for the first 45 minutes. My next purchase from the dvd bargain bin I think.
