An excellent movie with a brilliant cast. 'Guess Who's Coming to Dinner' deals with an important issue - and one that would have been extremely controversial when the film was first released.
It's a sad fact that there's still enough prejudice around in the world today to ensure a modern audience understands the obstacles facing the young couple. And yet there's a real sense of optimism throughout the movie.
It's easy to see why this film put Poitier on the map.
