Brilliant!
The film starts with a hoard of quiet and strange humor, but as the story rolls along, the tension, romance, and drama take over, considering it's a love story between two races; the idea of a scenario like this at the time was nearly unimaginable. Once the tearjerking atmosphere is set, it'll immediately grab your attention, aside from comic relief. Spencer's career, with a final speech that is heartwarming at best, ended with a bang after this wonderful film.
