Review of Guess Who's Coming to Dinner (1967) by Stephen J — 31 May 2011

I suspect this film looked dated even as it was released in 1967, and for all it's "explosive" context of the time, it comes off way too stiff and safe. It's an interesting film as an historical relic and, after all, who can quibble with a cast like Hepburn, Tracy, and Portier, but don't expect any to be treated to a deep cultural revelation.

Just be glad it's 2011!
