Review of Guess Who's Coming to Dinner (1967) by John C — 10 Aug 2012
In the first act, I was ready to write this thing off as being archaic, even for its day. But as the film went on, I was really knocked out to realize how much affection I had for all of the characters, to the point where one silent glance between Tracy and Hepburn at the end moved me to tears.
It's rough going in the first 30 minutes, but it's worth sticking it out despite how dated it has become.
