Review of Guess Who's Coming to Dinner (1967) by Christina F — 02 Dec 2007
I love this movie. I have seen it no less than 5 times. One of my favorite scenes is when Sidney Poitier is confronting his father and telling him " you don't own me and I don't owe you anything for raising me. You did what you were suppose to do". If only more parents realized that very truth!
Truly ahead of it's time, Stanley Kramer was a man of passion as he he had the characters dealing with so many very sensitve subjects. What ever happened to Katherine Houghton, Kathering Hepburn's real life niece?
