Review of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2023) by Celcees — 11 May 2023

Absolutely great movie, I wasn't expecting it to be so good, and it's my favorite of the bunch, infact it probably among my top "super hero" movies now. The people and critics who rated this under a 7 or 8 are smoking some bad crack.

And I honestly without joking urge them to go to therapy, as this was probably the most touching mass audience flick I've seen in a long time, and I walked out of the theater with a big goofy smile on my face with just a touch of bittersweet feeling in my heart.

I say this as someone who hasn't been able to get myself to see most of the recent marvel moves due to fatigue with the material. I can say this certainly isn't a kids movie, even of its not super high brow, there are some visceral and emotional scenes that might stick hard with the more sensitive and young.

But if you want a good, blockbuster time, and want to see some honestly thoughtful and creative film work made for the masses, that doesn't take its self too seriously and still manages to hit those emotional notes, Get up and Go See this in the theaters right now, and bring your friends and family because that's a big theme of the movie.
